Bikes for Girls

Many girls have to travel a long way each day to attend their local school. This can be a dangerous journey for them, leaving them open to being attacked.
Girls walking to the new secondary school that’s opened in the village, from their homes in neighbouring communities are in significant danger of being attached. Uyogo community leaders have asked for help to provide bicycles for girls so they can cycle safely to and from school, in groups.

SELL YOUR OLD CD’S AND DVDS
Let’s be honest, who even has a CD player these days! It’s about time your parents let go of their old ‘enormous’ collection of CD’s and DVD’s and moved to the digital world! Why not help them! Sort them all out and sell them all. There are lots of apps, like Music Magpie, out there that let you just scan the barcodes for a sale price. Boom! Not only have you earnt brownie points by cleaning up the bookshelf but you have also just funded much needed bikes!
DECLUTTER YOUR WARDROBE
You will never, EVER, have a better excuse to declutter your wardrobe then now! Whilst you are at it, declutter everyone’s wardrobe! Then sell them all on a site like ‘Vinted’.
